P.O.W.E.R. Perspective on HB 6564
The Lake Michigan P.O.W.E.R. Coalition, a Michigan based group concerned with the siting and proposed development of wind turbines in Lake Michigan, has said : “House Bill 6564 was introduced in the last days of a lame duck session by legislators who will no longer sit in the Michigan legislature after this year. The Michigan voters have spoken and have raised several environmental and economic concerns regarding the impact that these developments will have on the West Shore communities along Lake Michigan. As the bill stands, the numerous deficiencies make it unlikely to pass.”
